We’re proud to share a recent success story from our firm. Attorney Ben Thurman recently did an outstanding job defending a client charged with driving under the influence (DUI).

In this case, the Commonwealth was unable to get the certificate of analysis (the official record of the client’s blood alcohol content) into evidence — thanks to Ben’s meticulous preparation and sharp courtroom advocacy. He successfully argued to prevent the Commonwealth from claiming they had enough evidence to show the driving happened within three hours of the arrest — a crucial requirement under Virginia law.

Because of Ben’s strategic defense, the charge was completely dismissed – NOT GUILTY.
